Health Insurance in Australia
All 457 visas granted after 14 September 2009 are subject to condition 8501 requiring visa holders to maintain adequate arrangements for full coverage of private health insurance for yourself and any accompanying family members for the duration of your 457 visa. You must ensure that you and any secondary visa holders hold health insurance for the duration of your employment.
