Nick Warren

    Nick is a PRINCE2® certified Project Manager and consultant with nine years experience in IT Project Delivery and Enterprise Architecture. Nick has worked for multinational companies and the public sector in both Europe and Australia.
    Nick was attracted to emigrate from the UK to join SMS in Brisbane because of the range of roles and assignments available at the company. And the 300 days of sunshine per year!

    SMS Career Highlights

    Nick moved to Australia to join SMS in early 2007. Career highlights so far include:

    • Consulting to the Director of a Government department to enhance their Enterprise Architecture capability.
    • Nick was responsible for defining a roadmap for the Department and has developed a framework to help the organisation understand and meet its challenges.

    Background

    Nick started his career as a management consultant with PWC Consulting in the UK and Europe. He worked for a range of Financial Services, Telco, and Utilities clients to deliver IT change.

    Prior to joining SMS Nick worked for Lloyds TSB - one of the UK’s largest retail banks. During this time Nick's roles included working as a Solution Architect and Business Analyst before becoming a Project Manager. Other capabilities exhibited include: vendor and supplier management, delivery using offshore capabilities, software implementation and service introduction.

    Working at SMS has enabled Nick to work on new roles within new industry sectors and has provided great exposure to senior management.
